It is often thought that masks are just fun "extras" in our skincare routine. However, regular use of a clay mask can do wonders for your complexion, bringing radiance back to your skin and helping your serums and lotions work better! Our custom mask containing a special blend of white Kaolin clay and skin healthy herbs is a gentle yet powerful way to invigorate and refine your complexion. Kaolin boosts your skin's circulation, drawing waste products from within pores and follicles and gently exfoliates dead cells from the surface, revealing fresher, brighter skin. Horsetail, nettle, amla, tulsi and rosehip seeds contain a host of vitamins and minerals to nourish your skin while rose petals, lavender, and melissa provide wonderful aromatherapeutic and herbal benefits. Taking the extra minute to activate the powder for each application is well worth the effort and allows you to make a variety of masks to adapt to your skin's changing needs. Clay masks can be difficult to preserve, requiring higher amounts of preservative. Eliminating the need for a preservative makes this mask healthier for you and the environment!

Use this mask to:

• increase circulation
• deep clean pores & follicles

For best results:

• Pour a tablespoon of mask powder into the palm of your hand or a small dish. Add & stir your activating liquid of choice into the powder: black, green, rooibos or herbal tea, coffee, cream, milk, vegetable or fruit juice, coconut milk, plain water or one of Sweet Sisters Mist Toners. (The choices are almost endless!) Apply to freshly cleansed face while it is still warm & damp. Relax for a while until the mask dries or you are ready to remove it. (Cucumber slices over your eyes are a nice touch and a way to make sure you relax and aren't cleaning the house.) Using a warm, wet cloth, gently moisten the dry mask while wiping it away. Rinse with tepid water and follow with your favorite Sweet Sisters toner and moisturizer.
